Esther’s counselling tips:

• Senokot contains senna which is a natural vegetable laxative which can be used to treat constipation
• Senna is a gentle stimulant laxative which should be taken with a large glass of water and generally causes a bowel movement within 8 to 12 hours
• Senkot contains lactose
• Can be used in conjunction with Laevolac syrup for the treatment of stubborn constipation
• This product is NOT suitable in pregnancy – we would recommend a product such as PHLOE or Laevolac syrup instead
