Esther’s counselling tips:
- Crystaderm contains hydrogen peroxide which acts as an antibacterial and antiseptic
- It’s important to clean out anything in the wound with water before applying Crystaderm
- Unlike Betadine, Crystaderm will not stain clothes – however we still encourage customers to cover the wound with a Nexcare bandage to prevent further infection
- I always let my customers know that if there is redness around the injury site, draw a border around the redness with a pen and if the redness advances outside of the border whilst applying Crystaderm then I suggest you go see a doctor
- NOT to be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding
