Esther’s counselling tips:
- Flixonase is a steroid nasal spray, meaning to gain maximum benefit it needs to be used on a regular basis during the allergy season (preferably everyday)
- Unlike Otrivin, Flixonase is safe to use on a daily basis
- Give the nasal spray a light shake before you use it so that the steroid drug is distributed evenly in the bottle
- It make take a few days of regular use before the full effects of flixonase kick in – keep persevering!

Andrew’s Counselling Tips:
- DermAid 1% cream is a gentle formulation which can be used for itchy skin, mild dermatitis, insect bites or eczema
- We recommend to apply the cream 2 – 4 times daily to the affected area and then stop using it once the condition has improved, this product is NOT for regular everyday use
- The product is not suitable to be used on the face or near the eyes, we would recommend a milder product such as DermAid 0.5% cream instead
- For allergic skin conditions, the cream can be used in conjunction with an oral antihistamine tablet or liquid
- DermAid Cream is greasy like an ointment so it is better than DermAid Soft Cream to use on a dry irritated rash, as it will provide it with a bit of moisture
- NOT to be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless under recommendation from a doctor
